As Built Drawings " Why"

There are three uses for “as built” drawings; as space allocation plans, Cost Center plans and actual usable square footage plans.

“As built” drawings are used to create space allocation plans when a company is considering how to use the space in a new building.

These are the what department is going to sit where plans. Usually colorfully created, it is a simple birds eye view of the possibilities.

Sometimes the facilities department in company wants to see actuals The beginning of a migration. Departments are alive, they expanded and contract. They are on the move.
